Saddam’s Palaces
Let us not add to the suffering of the Iraqi people. The best solution to Saddam Hussein’s intransigence might be to take out the so-called palaces that he has put off limits to inspections. The need to inspect these palaces would thereby be eliminated while, hopefully, sparing the people and also giving Iraq an opportunity to accede to the U.N. before the series of bombings is completed.
