Animal Society to Open Pet Adoption Center at Mall
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will open a pet adoption center and merchandise outlet at noon today in the Seventh Street Market Place mall.
Cats and dogs will be available for adoption for $55 and $75, respectively. The fee will include vaccinations, sterilization and a gift certificate for a health check by a veterinarian.
“This is an exciting opportunity to showcase our shelter animals in beautiful surroundings,” said society President Madeline Bernstein. “We trust that by exposing these animals to the public, they can find good homes.”
