Santa Clara-based semiconductor giant Intel Corp. and Cyrix Corp., a developer of Intel-clone microprocessors, owned by Santa Clara-based National Semiconductor Corp., said they settled a patent-infringement lawsuit that Cyrix filed against Intel last year.

* San Diego-based Mycogen Corp. lost its $70.2-million patent-infringement suit against Monsanto Co. and seed companies Dekalb Genetics Corp. and Delta & Pine Land Co. over bioengineered pest-resistant agricultural crops. Nasdaq trading in Mycogen shares was halted after the verdict Tuesday, with the price down $1 at $19.75.
