New Apple Campaign Takes On Pentium II

In a new ad that aired Wednesday night, Apple Computer Inc. took on competitors that sell PCs powered by Intel computer chips. The TV commercial shows a snail with a Pentium II chip on its back. As previously reported, Apple and its agency, Venice-based TBWA Chiat/Day, had considered airing the spot during the Super Bowl but were unable to buy air time.
