From Times Wire Reports

A woman who walked out of prison 10 months ago when a judge declared her not guilty of murdering a romantic rival was back behind bars to await the outcome of another appeal. Lisa Michelle Lambert, 25, returned to the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility in Clinton, where she spent nearly five years before a federal judge in April overturned her conviction and barred her retrial. U.S. District Judge Stewart Dalzell accused police and prosecutors of perjury, witness tampering and suppression of evidence. But the U.S. 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals reinstated Lambert’s life sentence, saying her lawyers should have exhausted state appeals.
