Ramirez’s Feminist

Feel free to accuse me of lacking a sense of humor for finding Michael Ramirez’s cartoon of Jan. 30 not only not funny but offensive. The print, radio and television media and Ramirez have wondered why feminist organizations are quiet on the Clinton sex scandal. May I answer that? Adultery is not a feminist issue.

Let me write that again so you get it: Adultery is not a feminist issue. It never has been. It never will be. What happens between two consenting adults is not on the platform. To put it into terms you boys can understand, it would be like asking John Elway to comment on how to effectively box out another boy in the paint--he could give you an opinion but it’s not his game.
