Golden West College Adds Day Care Hours
The Golden West College Child Care Center is expanding its hours to accommodate students with young children.
Sandy Lutz, the center’s director, said the expanded hours are a first for the college and were made possible through a welfare reform grant.
Child care will be available to registered students from 7:45 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Students can use the center while at work or in class for the remainder of the semester. Enrolled children must be between the ages of 2 and 5.
