Theodora Triggs

I just finished reading your Feb. 1 article on Theodora Triggs. Wow! I was choked with emotion. It’s not because it is the story of an addict in a drug rehab center. We are used to those. It’s because I read your front page article last year and I was truly shocked and sickened. And then I saw the understandable story of her arrest and loss of custody. But now you bring me this.

I have never had an addiction. I love my daughter, too. I don’t know what it’s like to go through her experience, but she is getting up each morning and choosing to handle life the way we all have to. In some detached way, I feel like I’ve been through something with this person. I didn’t think you could conjure stronger emotions in me than with your first article about her. But with this last one, you did.
