Safari-Theme Hotel to Open Near Vegas
The building boom in and around Las Vegas continues Tuesday with the opening of the 224-room Reserve Hotel Casino in nearby Henderson, Nev. The resort has four restaurants, three bars, a pool, exotic animal statues and murals, all geared to an “African safari animal reserve” theme, says the owner, Ameristar Casinos Inc. Introductory room rates, through February, are $31.90 weekdays and $53.90 weekends, including taxes. Reservations: (888) 899-7770.
