Advanced Photonix Stays on Track in Turnaround

Advanced Photonix in Camarillo reported a profit of $101,000, 1 cent per share, for the third quarter ended Dec. 28, compared with a net loss of $386,000, 4 cents per share, in last year’s third quarter.

Third-quarter revenues totaled $2 million, compared with $1.4 million reported in the third quarter of the prior year.

Net loss for the nine months was 1 cent per share compared with a loss of 12 cents per share for the same period in the previous year.

Advanced Photonix designs and manufactures silicon photodetectors, optoelectronic hybrid assemblies and large area avalanche photodiodes.
