Sound Source Interactive Posts Revenue of $3 Million

Sound Source Interactive Inc. saw its revenue double in its second quarter as it posted a profit turnaround.

In the quarter that ended Dec. 31 Sound Source posted a profit of $1.3 million, compared to a net loss of $493,886 last year. Its revenue in the latest quarter rose to $3 million, up from $1.5 million in the same period last year.

For the six-month period the company posted a profit of $689,063, up from a net loss of $941,635, and its revenue jumped 68% to $4.1 million, versus $2.4 million a year earlier.

Sound Source, based in Calabasas, is a seller of educational and entertainment software programs.
