ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS

Endocare Inc.: The Irvine manufacturer of surgical devices and technologies said it lost $1 million, or 12 cents a share, for the fourth quarter, compared with a net loss of $192,245, or 3 cents a share, for the corresponding quarter a year ago. Revenue declined 39% to $515,429 from $839,764. The net loss for 1997 totaled $3.9 million, or 48 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $1.5 million, or 27 cents a share, for 1996. Revenue was down 5% to $2 million from $2.1 million.
