Scribner Elected to Board of Directors of Westcorp in Irvine

Charles E. Scribner has been elected to the board of directors of Westcorp, an Irvine financial services company whose principal subsidiary is Western Financial Bank. Scribner succeeds Alan L. Milligan, who resigned in late 1997. Scribner had been with Bank of America for 34 years.

* Dale Davis has been named general manager of the Anaheim-based Republic Group LLC’s fleet services division. He was formerly with Golden West Financial and Ford Motor Credit.

* Tim Strader Jr. has been appointed manager of real estate development for Opus West Corp.’s Southern California office. Before joining the company, Strader was a vice president with Heitman Properties Ltd. and senior associate in the south Orange County office of CB Commercial Real Estate Group.

* John Koncki has been appointed director of product development for CKE Restaurants Inc. in Anaheim. Koncki will oversee the development, testing and implementation of new and promotional products and packaging for Carl’s Jr. restaurants. He has been with CKE since 1987 as manager of product development and has served as manager of product optimization since 1993.
