ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS

Gish Biomedical Inc.: The Irvine maker of disposable medical devices incurred a second-quarter net loss of $232,700, or 7 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $8,200, or no cents a share, for the second quarter a year ago. Sales for the quarter ended Dec. 31 declined 2% to $5.2 million from $5.3 million. For the first half, a net loss of $142,200, or 4 cents a share, was recorded, compared with net income of $53,000, or 2 cents a share, for the same period a year ago. Sales were down 1% to $10.5 million from $10.6 million.
