Transition Analysis Component Technology Inc.: The Yorba Linda provider of semiconductor information services reported a net loss of $218,000, or 36 cents a share, for the fiscal second quarter, compared with net income of $59,000, or 11 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenue for the three months ended Dec. 31 rose 80.5% to $921,000 from $510,000. The company said it lost $185,000, or 32 cents a share, for the six months, compared with net income of $146,000, or 26 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenue totaled $1.6 million, up 60% from $1 million.

The company attributed its losses for the quarter and first half to legal costs related primarily to its lawsuit seeking to prevent a former employee and a competitor from misappropriating trade secrets and from soliciting the company’s employees and customers.
