Armed Man Robs Gas Station Mini-Mart
A thief armed with a handgun robbed a gas station mini-mart, police said Thursday.
The thief, who had a small handgun tucked in his waistband, entered the store at the Chevron station, 566 W. Main St., about 4:45 p.m. Wednesday and demanded money, police said.
After the cashier handed over an undisclosed amount of money, the thief fled. The clerk did not see whether the robber left in a vehicle, police said.
The robber is described as a short Latino man with stocky build, wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt.
