ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS

Procom Technology Inc.: The Irvine-based manufacturer of computer storage products reported net income of $1.6 million, or 14 cents a share, for the second fiscal quarter, down 20% from $2 million, or 20 cents a share, for the same period last year. Revenue for the quarter ended Jan. 31 declined 12% to $23.5 million from $26.6 million. Net income for the first half increased 3% to $4.1 million, or 36 cents a share, from $4 million, or 42 cents a share, for the first six months of fiscal 1997. Revenue advanced 6% to $54.8 million from $51.5 million.
