Ice Dogs Clinch IHL Playoff Berth

The Long Beach Ice Dogs became the first International Hockey League team to clinch an playoff spot, defeating the Manitoba Moose, 3-0, Wednesday night.

The Ice Dogs (40-16-8) were led by goaltender Mike Buzak, who stopped 24 shots and stymied seven Moose power plays. Buzak is tied for first in the league with five shutouts.
