Business Week informed users of its Web site that it plans to start charging an undisclosed subscription fee this month. Subscribers to the print magazine may use the site without charge except for orders for older articles, it said. . . . Microsoft Corp. said Harvard law professor Lawrence Lessig had rejected its request he “disqualify himself” as a special advisor to U.S. District Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson in the Justice Department’s case charging Microsoft with violating a consent decree aimed at increasing software industry competition. Microsoft asserts that Lessig is biased.
