Sunny Hills 58, La Mirada 49--Sunny Hills (9-7) held La Mirada (6-9) to only five second-quarter points, to take a 26-21 halftime lead. Bim Okunrinboye led the Lancers with 21 points and Grady Funk added 17.
Troy 69, Mission Viejo 52--Jerry Inzunza scored 24 points to lead the offensive attack for Troy. Troy (11-3) led 41-16 at halftime. Jerry Bolton scored a game-high 26 points for visiting Mission Viejo.
University 92, Irvine 91 (2 OT)--Irvine’s Chris Ferguson was fouled on a three-point attempt with eight seconds remaining in regulation and made all three to send the game into overtime. Ferguson, who finished with 41 points, missed a chance to win the game in the second overtime when his driving layup rolled off the rim. The Vaqueros are 11-5.
University (8-6), which missed a shot at the buzzer in the first overtime, was led by Eric Palmer’s 25 points and Larry Johnson’s 20.
