‘Arguably’

The Times is “arguably” one of the country’s best newspapers. But is that a reason for reporters Ralph Vartabedian, George Skelton and Ronald Brownstein all to use the word “arguably” in the Jan. 5 issue? After that I stopped counting. I won’t argue if you would possibly, perhaps permanently, retire “arguably.”
