Woman Gets 2 Years for Anti-Islam Posters

Tatiana Suskin, 26, was sentenced to two years in prison for posting drawings on Arab shops depicting the prophet Muhammad as a pig. She smiled and waved to right-wing supporters as her term was handed down. The judge said posting the drawings in the West Bank city of Hebron in June was a “revolting, degenerate” act. The drawings set off days of clashes between Palestinians and Israeli troops and triggered protests throughout much of the Muslim world.
