Library Offers Help Preparing Tax Forms
Fountain Valley Library will offer free tax assistance for residents who cannot afford an accountant or preparation expert, to senior citizens, the disabled and those who have trouble speaking and understanding English.
Those who fall outside the criteria but still want help can bring completed forms to the sessions and have them checked for accuracy.
Consultations will be provided by volunteers who have completed an IRS training program.
Help is offered 5-8 p.m. Mondays from Feb. 2 to April 13, except for the Presidents’ Day holiday on Feb. 16.
Appointments are not necessary. The library is at 17635 Los Alamos St. Information: (714) 962-1324.
