Brent Barry on rookie center Keith Closs’ new haircut: “Remember Cabbage Patch kids? It kind of reminded me of that. But as long as Keith continues to play well with that haircut, hopefully he’ll keep it.”
Rookie forward Maurice Taylor agreed.
“I’ve got a lot of respect for him,” Taylor said. “Anybody who would wear that on TV has got to be brave.”
Closs’ explanation? “I did it for the heck of it,” he said.

Clipper forward Lorenzen Wright sat out his fourth consecutive game because of strained ligaments in his left knee.
However, Wright, who has averaged 16.4 rebounds in his last eight games, was in uniform.
