Bergen Brunswig Gets an Exclusive

A Bergen Brunswig Corp. unit has signed a three-year agreement to be the exclusive provider of medical-surgical supplies to Catholic Materials Management Alliance’s alternate care facilities.

Bergen said Catholic Materials currently purchases more than $280 million a year in pharmaceutical products from Bergen’s drug company.

Catholic Materials, of St. Louis, provides materials management programs for five Catholic health care systems.

Bergen distributes drug and medical-surgical supplies to drug stores, hospitals and health maintenance organizations.
