Volunteers Needed at 2 Senior Centers

The city is seeking volunteers to help the elderly at the Seniors’ Outreach Center and the Michael Rodgers Seniors Center.

Volunteers would help deliver meals to homebound residents, drive clients to medical appointments and make house visits. Assistance also is needed with senior programs, clubs and special events.

Training sessions will begin Feb. 3 and run through March 31 at the Seniors’ Outreach Center, 1718 Orange Ave.

Volunteers who complete the training program will become part of the Huntington Beach Council on Aging Team.
