Ramsey Case Weapon Reportedly Found
Police investigating the murder of child beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey reportedly found a missing piece of evidence. The heavy, black flashlight, first spotted on the kitchen counter of the Ramsey home in Boulder the morning the girl’s body was found, was discovered among evidence stored at police headquarters, Time magazine reports in its Jan. 19 issue. Police believe that the 6-year-old was killed by a blow to the head with the flashlight, after she already had a cord tied around her neck. The flashlight was sent to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation crime lab for testing. Boulder police declined to comment.
