Enterprise Forum Seeks Business Plans

Entrepreneurs interested in attracting investors are invited to submit business plans for use in the Enterprise Development Center Forum, sponsored by Cal Lutheran University and Southern California Edison.

The third annual event is scheduled for April 21 at the North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village. The deadline to submit business plans is Feb. 13.

The forum is geared toward small- and medium-size companies and provides advice on how to raise venture capital. Business owners, entrepreneurs and minority-owned businesses are encouraged to submit their business plans for consideration as forum presenters.

All businesses that submit a plan will receive a detailed analysis of it by entrepreneurial experts and will be able to network with investors at a dinner the evening of the forum. Up to 12 companies will be selected to make presentations.

Those companies will attend a one-day workshop in March to help them prepare their presentations.

The nonrefundable application fee is $150. Graduates of the FastTrac II program may apply for $75.
