Wolves
Re “Ranchers Who Cry Wolf,” editorial, Jan. 15: The American Farm Bureau Federation, as well as the ranchers it represents, symbolizes the very worst of our nation’s notorious history of wolf genocide. Like any bigot, these ranchers ignore scientific evidence that contradicts their prejudices.
In the world view of the ancient Norse, Valhalla is protected by a wolf (Tjodvitner) who feeds on the souls of men. May Tjodvitner feed well and never thirst.

While I not only agree with your editorial, I would take it one step further: Why not remove the ranchers whose “product” not only tramples the grasses and fouls the waters on our public lands where they graze, only to become a food source that eventually produces cancers and other fatal ailments in the humans who consume them.
