Masked Men Rob Mile Square Shop
Two masked men robbed the golf shop at Mile Square Regional Park in Fountain Valley late Thursday, the Sheriff’s Department said.
Three employees were closing the David L. Baker Golf Center about 9:30 p.m.; when they unbolted the door to leave, two men in hooded sweatshirts and ski masks burst in, Sheriff’s Lt. Richard Paddock said. One of the robbers had a handgun.
The assailants forced the three workers to the floor before the gunman grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash, Paddock said. The employees were not injured.
