All-Female Schools

Share

Regarding the idea that girls need to compete with boys in the classroom to prepare them to compete with men later in life (letter, Jan. 21), my experience tells a different story. I attended an all-female high school in which girls and women performed every task, from maintenance worker to school principal. Our 25-year reunion was filled with articulate, educated, successful professionals and business owners in every field, including broadcasting (that’s mine).
