DDL Electronics Posts 8% Increase in Revenues

DDL Electronics Inc. achieved a profit turnaround in its second quarter on an 8% increase in revenues.

In the period ending Dec. 31, DDL posted net income of $295,000, compared to a net loss of $531,000 in the same period a year earlier. Revenues in the latest quarter rose to $12.1 million, up from $11.2 million.

For the six-month period, DDL posted a net profit of $424,000, compared with a net loss of$1.3 million a year earlier, while revenues climbed 17% to $24.7 million, up from $21.1 million in the same period a year ago.

DDL, based in Newbury Park, is a maker of printed circuit boards for original equipment makers in the computer, medical and aerospace businesses.
