YMCA Sets Sights on Raising $75,000
The Conejo Valley YMCA kicks off its annual fund-raising drive Feb. 4 with the goal of bringing in $75,000.
“The YMCA currently helps underwrite dues for 22% of its members,” Executive Director Steve Willmont said. “The money we raise in February will enable us to continue to assist members with a financial need.
“It will also be used to keep costs down for our child-care services, kids and teens programs, summer camp, water programs for kids, seniors and the disabled and all the other activities at the Y.”
About 75 volunteers will call on businesses and individuals during the monthlong drive.
