C-SPAN School Bus Schedules Local Stop

The C-SPAN School Bus is scheduled to make a stop in Newbury Park this morning as part of its nine-month nationwide tour.

The bus, a 45-foot-long television production studio and demonstration center, is scheduled to be stationed from 7 a.m. to noon in the parking lot of Telecommunications Inc. at 2323 Teller Road.

This year’s theme for the C-SPAN School Bus’ 5th annual tour is a tribute to French historian Alexis de Tocqueville, who as a young man traveled the United States in the 1830s and then wrote the classic book “Democracy in America.”
