Clinton Scandal

How many scandals will it take for Clinton’s apologists to finally concede that Bill Clinton is morally bankrupt, an abuser of power, a liar and unfit to be president? Clinton demeans the presidency, which, in effect, demeans all of this country’s citizens. If these latest allegations concerning obstruction of justice and perjury prove true, Clinton should be impeached, even if it means tolerating Al Gore as president for two years.

* JFK’s sexual escapades were legendary yet he is considered to be one of our most beloved presidents. As long as national security isn’t jeopardized, I do not care with whom President Clinton sleeps. To paraphrase Barry Goldwater, if you took all the sinners out of Washington there would be no one left to run the country. The Republicans are wasting time and taxpayer money on what I consider to be a nonissue. Their efforts would be better suited looking for a candidates who can defeat Gore in 2000, but until they abandon the far right extremists I do not think the Republicans will succeed.
