Anderson Worthy of Notice

To be told two days before the major swim meet of the year that their coach had been “let go” by the Rose Bowl committee was a worst-case scenario for Rose Bowl swimmers, and was a case of extremely bad management by that committee.

Former Rose Bowl Coach Terry Stoddard has now received free advertising from The Times for his private swimming club. Gary Anderson, who succeeded Stoddard as head coach at Rose Bowl, is a former Olympic swimmer with his own very good credentials. He deserves an equal place in the spotlight.
