Frank E. Henigman; Sales Manager

Longtime Thousand Oaks resident Frank Edward Henigman died at his home Sunday following a short illness. He was 62.

Henigman was born Sept. 9, 1935, in Chicago, Ill. In 1969, he moved with his wife to Thousand Oaks.

For 38 years Henigman worked as a regional sales manager for the Lorillard Corp.

His family described him as a person who enjoyed ministering and helping people in need.

Henigman was involved in a Big Brother/Big Sister program and the Christian men’s organization Promise Keepers. He often visited the homes of terminally ill people, his family said.

Henigman is survived by his wife of 37 years, Patricia Henigman of Thousand Oaks; two sons, Frank Henigman of Mission Viejo and Greg Henigman of Santa Clarita; two daughters, Victoria O’Gorman of Hollywood, Fla., and Leanne Francis of San Francisco; a sister, Frances Vinter of Plainfield, Ind.; three granddaughters and a nephew.

A memorial service is planned for 4 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Community Chapel in Westlake Village.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to any office of the American Cancer Society or the Calvary Chapel Community Church Building Fund in Westlake Village.
