From Times Wire Reports

Previously unreleased letters from Timothy J. McVeigh to his sister before the Oklahoma City bombing reveal a man so angry toward the government that he contemplated suicide, the New York Times reported. The letters led McVeigh’s family to suspect him in the April 19, 1995, bombing that killed 168 people. In one letter, McVeigh said he quit Army Special Forces training and considered killing himself because he was told he might have to take part in assassinations and CIA drug-trafficking. “I have an urgent need for someone in the family to understand me,” he wrote to his sister, Jennifer.
