Club Eligibility--A story Sunday incorrectly reported the eligibility rules for the Mom’s Club in Moorpark. The new club is open to all working and stay-at-home mothers.

Members will hold needlework, handicraft and book-discussion sessions. Members also plan to form a baby-sitting co-operative so mothers can make trips to the doctor without children.

For new mothers, the club also will offer gifts and home-cooked meals.

Activities for children include Easter egg hunts, summer family barbecues, trips to local museums, zoos, gyms, playgrounds and local eateries.

Members also plan to be involved in community service programs. Members are planning an “adopt-a-family” program to provide food and services for families in town that need help.

The group held its first meeting Thursday.
