County College District Gets ‘A’ Bond Rating
Standard & Poor’s has assigned its ‘A’ rating to the Ventura County Community College District’s certificates of participation dated May 1, 1998, and due Dec. 1, 2018.
The rating reflects strong general credit-worthiness, among other factors.
The district plans to leverage its liberal arts building and new letters and science building at Oxnard College to finance the purchase and installation of a database system for student online registration and to make repairs and improvements to various school facilities.
The district operates Ventura College, Moorpark College and Oxnard College.
