PerfectData Corp. Reports $799,000 Loss for Year

PerfectData Corp. in Simi Valley reported a loss of $799,000, including discontinued operations, for the year ended March 31, compared to a loss of $334,000 a year earlier.

For the fourth quarter, the company reported a loss of $409,000, including discontinued operations. In the previous year, the fourth-quarter loss was $320,000.

PerfectData is discussing with several firms the possibility of a merger, alliance or other type of business combination.

PerfectData designs and markets computer, office-care and maintenance products and accessories. The products are designed to eliminate or minimize contamination in and around computers and office-automation equipment, and to enhance user performance.
