Macworld Expo to Return to Boston in 1999

Share

Macworld Expo, the semiannual conference for users of Apple Computer products, will move its summer show back to Boston in 1999 after a one-year trial in New York. The New York event, which took place this week, was meant to appeal to the publishing and new-media industries, a target market for Apple that is more concentrated in New York than in Boston. Expo official Paul Paget said that although attendance fell from 48,000 last year to slightly more than 30,000 at the New York venue, the trade show may try New York again in 2000.
