‘Out to Sea’

This 1997 release is a classic shipboard farce that gives full play to Jack Lemmon’s (right) and Walter Matthau’s (left) formidable comic gifts that are deftly played against genuine sentiment. A wide array of esteemed veterans glow under the direction of Martha Coolidge, who can always be counted upon to bring out all the gleaming facets of both script and cast.
