Journalism Awards for El Don, West 17th
Santa Ana College’s student newspaper, El Don, and magazine, West 17th, have won top honors in a contest sponsored by the Journalism Assn. of Community Colleges.
The paper captured the general excellence award and first place honors in the page design and feature photo categories. West 17th also won first place in the general excellence category.
The recent awards cap off an award-winning year for both the paper and the magazine, college officials said.
