4 Teenagers Arrested in Eatery Shootings
Four young men ages 16 to 19 were arrested in the July 5 shootings at a Vietnamese restaurant and karaoke bar in Tacoma that killed five people and wounded five others. The suspects were each jailed on investigation of five counts of first-degree murder and five counts of first-degree assault, police said. In the early morning shootings, three gunmen burst into the Trang Dai restaurant and fired dozens of rounds at the 16 people inside before fleeing. A waitress and four customers were killed; the owner was among the wounded. Police had speculated the rampage was gang-related because the gunmen didn’t take anything in the raid.
