A 20-year-old Chicago man has been arrested and held without bail on suspicion of killing a former employer in Indiana, police said.

Pomona police received notice Sunday night from the Evansville, Ind., police that a homicide suspect, Darald Lee Weeks Jr., might be hiding out at his father’s house in Pomona.

Police surrounded the house in the 1900 block of Denison Street, where the suspect was arrested without incident about 11:30 p.m., said Pomona Police Sgt. Paul Capraro.

Weeks is accused of murdering Neil Brower, 35, whose body was found in a truck parked in Evansville last Tuesday after passersby reported a foul odor, officials said.

Until recently Weeks worked for Brower, a vendor who was selling T-shirts at a Harley-Davidson convention in Evansville, police said.

Last week, Brower fired Weeks and another man, officials said. Police believe both men were involved in the killing. The other man is already in custody in Indiana, officials said.
