Medstone International Inc.: The Aliso Viejo medical device maker posted second-quarter net income of $1.2 million, or 23 cents a share, a 20% increase from the $1 million, or 19 cents a share, reported a year ago. Revenue rose 11% to $6.3 million from $5.7 million. First-half net income was up 16% to $2.2 million, or 40 cents a share, from $1.9 million, or 34 cents a share, for the 1997 first half. Revenue advanced 14% to $12.1 million from $10.6 million.
