Interlink Electronics in Camarillo said revenues reached $5.4 million for the second quarter ended June 30, a 14% increase over second quarter 1997 and a 4% increase over the first quarter of this year.

Net income was $135,000 or 3 cents per share, compared with $273,000, or 6 cents per share in the same quarter of last year.

“The year-to-year comparison reflects our renewed focus on large international original equipment manufacturer customers,” said E. Michael Thoben, chairman, CEO and president. “Recent success in Japan has proven this strategy correct.”
