ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS

ATL Products Inc.: The Irvine manufacturer of automated tape libraries to store computer data reported that net income for the first fiscal quarter ended June 30 increased 58% to $1.9 million, or 19 cents a share, from $1.2 million, or 12 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue advanced 77% to $33 million from $18.6 million. Quantum Corp. recently offered to acquire ATL, pending stockholder approval.
