Irvine’s Sync Research Names President

Share

In the latest change in executive personnel at Sync Research Inc., Richard W. Martin on Monday became president and chief executive of the Irvine maker of computer networking devices.

Chairman Greg Reyes and founder John Rademaker, who have served as interim co-CEOs since last fall, will return to their previous duties. Martin was hired to replace former Sync CEO Roger Dorf, who resigned in October, less than six months after he took the job. When he resigned, Dorf cited a “difference in opinion.”

A former executive with General Electric Co. and Stereographics Corp., Martin was hired to help strengthen Sync’s position in the networking arena.
